    Yikes. But you’re probably safer there than here. Random shootings at schools seems to be an American thing.

    …the only thing thats the same: the media being completly usless. have you ever watched a dreadful photo montage with emotional music and a lame voice over? yea… 😦 i dont miss local MN news. at. all.

    Yeah, local TV news is a joke, but it’s better in MSP than it is here in ND! Google search “WDAZ emo” and you’ll see what I mean. It’s good for a laugh, but really, it makes my head hurt.

    The same WDAZ news studio offered my friend a job doing feature reporting (including lots of travel, shooting live TV, editing footage, interviews, voiceovers, etc.) once he completed his 4-year university degree in a related field. Their offer? A fat wage of $7.50 an hour.

    The McDonald’s across the street pays more than that, and the full-time benefits are comparable.

    So go figure?
