Winter Survival.  Vodka.  God.  Color.

Eyes of the Decanter.

Buildings in the canals…

..Horsemen in the Sky! Oh my!

The clouds spilled onto the buildings.

Color spilled onto the chair.

View from business class.

Nothing cheers me up like watching the clouds on a long journey. So thats what I did.  In between eating loads of healthy (seriously!!!) food and sipping Chardonnay.

Still emerging from our ‘Amazingly Tasty SeaFood of All kinds coma’…

..we found coffee at a cheery cafe.

Celebrating the holidays with a posh passion fruit chocolate cake!

Walking down the street, we felt as though we were being watched.

One Eyed Beauty lurking in an alley.

New Couch Topper Paste Up!

SHAG!!  Yes, shag.  We laughed like little kids.

Nicest fish restaurant in St.Petersburg, with a starter compliments of the chef.

Oysters and Snails-Dan flashes a grin before showing me the ‘proper’ way to eat seafood.

Smiles before trying something new and slightly slimy…

Happy look as the ‘proper’ Oyster technique is mastered!

Creme brulee to finish

Both agreed the most unique loo EVER-taken straight from an old Soviet gun ship.

Back to the beginning, we tried to remember (and draw) the 12 Days of Christmas, (on the paper table cloth) but ended up with waddly French Hens and a jolly holiday message.

My camera was left at home, so we practiced with Dan’s camera and had super results!

We ate Chinese food until we burst and then Dan ordered a mountain of  fried Carmel Bananas.  There was much “Waddling” happening.

Then the Extreme Lunging started….

Even the American’s got involved!

Kill Fish Bar to start…

Metro Acrobatics by a talented small person…

..and her slightly taller companion.

Found Dan’s Dodgy Facial Hair Brother on the cover of a Russian book.

First ancient depiction of a bad breast job. Also found at Russian Metro Book Store.

The Men give some posing sass.

We went to the Saint-Petersburg Theatre of Musical Comedy to see Baroness Lili

Why, yes, I am a saucy Mer-Man with Fabulous Hair and Posing Style.

Odd flying, floating, fat babies on the handrails.

Such a lovely theater!

Remembering the good times Baku Style:  Stout interspersed with double Vodka at 2 am.

To Boldly Cook What No Man Has Cooked Before: Egg/mushroom omelet with fried tomato center.

Aww, festive office decorations.

SPIBA Christmas Party.

The result of falling…after several hours and the following conversation with Dan: “Have you tried a Blue Lagoon?  Nope.  Have you tired a White Russian?  No.  Have you tried a Scarlett O’Hare?  Umm, No, lets order one of each!’

The day started with snow…but I still went for a 45 min run along the canals.

Dodgy ‘Stach man was seen lurking in the shadows of the ‘Sunless St.Petersburg Winter Days’ right before he shaved it all off.

Blurry Flurry.  Or Nevskiy Prospect after a Vodka Session.

Nothing beats St.Petersburg holiday lights!

Kazan Cathedral + jolly tree.

Giant Sparkly Cup of Coffee, Nevskiy Prospect.
